Refund Policy

Effective April 25, 2026. We honor refunds in good faith. We'd rather refund a satisfied customer than fight a chargeback.

The short version

  • Lifetime tiers (BCG VIP $159, Case Library Lifetime $250) — full refund within 7 days, no questions asked.
  • Subscriptions (Case Library Saving $59/mo) — cancel anytime to stop renewing, but cycles already paid for are non-refundable.
  • Per-module & Basic tier (Bain modules $20, BCG Basic $99/yr, Bain Comprehensive $99) — non-refundable. Digital delivery is irreversible.

1. 7-Day Money-Back on Lifetime Tiers

Two products carry our 7-day money-back guarantee:

  • BCG VIP — $159 Lifetime. 20 BCG-style chatbot cases plus all future BCG cases we add.
  • Case Library Lifetime — $250. Unlimited access to the full case library plus AI Sim simulator.

If you're not satisfied within 7 calendar days of purchase, email us and we'll process a full refund to the original payment method. The 7-day clock starts at purchase confirmation, not at first login.

2. Honor Policy: Goodwill Over Gatekeeping

We refund Lifetime purchases within the 7-day window even if you've used the product. Browsed cases? Ran an AI Sim session? Listened to your audio replay? That's fine — the bar is goodwill, not gatekeeping.

Our reasoning: if CaseDrill didn't click for you in the first week, fighting you over $159 or $250 isn't worth the bad taste it leaves. Refund issued, account closed, both sides walk away clean.

The exception: bulk-download patterns or evidence the account was created to harvest content for resale will trigger a decline + suspension under our acceptable use policy.

3. No Refunds on Subscriptions, Per-Module, or Basic Tier

The following purchases are non-refundable:

  • Case Library Saving — $59/month. Cancel anytime to stop the next renewal. The current month is yours regardless.
  • BCG Basic — $99/year. 10 BCG cases over a full year. The yearly price assumes commitment — if you want try-before-buy, the AI Sim demo and Lifetime 7-day window are both better fits.
  • Bain modules — $20 each. Bain Verbal, Numerical, Deductive, Inductive — single-payment access to a finite test bank. Once granted, the access can't be un-given.
  • Bain Comprehensive — $99. All four Bain modules bundled. Same logic as the per-module SKUs.

Why no refunds here? Digital delivery is irreversible — we can't unship an answer key. The Lifetime 7-day window exists precisely so you can de-risk a higher-ticket purchase; the lower-ticket ones don't carry the same buyer's- remorse risk.

4. How to Request a Refund

  1. Email support@casedrill.com from the same email you used at checkout. Mismatched email addresses slow us down — please match exactly.
  2. Include your order number (in your purchase confirmation email — looks like DS-YYYYMMDD-XXXX) or the last 4 digits of the card used.
  3. One sentence on what didn't work for you is helpful but not required. We're not going to argue with you — the feedback just makes us better.
  4. We process the refund within 2 business days. PayPal then takes 3-10 business days to credit your card or bank — that's on their side, not ours.

5. Disputes & Chargebacks

If you file a chargeback or dispute through your card issuer or PayPal instead of emailing us first, we follow the dispute outcome. PayPal (and your card issuer) arbitrate; we don't override. (Stripe was retired 2026-04-25 — historical Stripe disputes are handled in the Stripe Dashboard.)

  • If the dispute is won by you (the customer), the refund is automatic and we revoke access.
  • If the dispute is won by us (the merchant), no refund is issued and access remains.

Practical note: emailing us is faster, costs you nothing, and avoids the dispute process flagging your card. We process the vast majority of refund requests within 24 hours of the email landing.

6. Edge Cases

A few specific situations worth calling out:

  • Duplicate purchases. If you accidentally bought the same product twice (e.g. clicked checkout, didn't see the confirmation, bought again), we refund the duplicate immediately regardless of the 7-day window.
  • Failed delivery. If our system charged you but never granted access, you don't need to invoke the refund policy — just email us and we'll either fix the delivery or refund. Standard customer service.
  • Subscription billing error. If we double-charged a subscription cycle or charged after a successful cancel, full refund of the erroneous charge is automatic — again, no 7-day clock applies.
  • Family / friend purchase mistake. Lifetime purchases made by mistake (wrong account, gifted to wrong person) are refunded within the 7-day window with no pushback.
